"Digital Twin Earth Percursor" Projektunterstützung

UNIQUE was part of an ESA funded consortium, which utilized expertise in research and industry to create a prototype Digital Twin Earth. The project reproduced the behavior of forest ecosystems, including their interactions with humans. Digital Twin Earth integrates the earth system model with modern Earth Observation Data, Artificial Intelligence, high performance computing, data infrastructure, and appropriate user interfaces, including state-of-the-art visualization tools. UNIQUE led work package 1: Stakeholder engagement and digital twin earth consolidation. This component contributed to the project understanding of user requirements and included a stakeholder benefit analysis and critical review of technical Digital Twin Earth development. UNIQUE was tasked with ensuring that user needs are reflected in the various phases of development.
