One of the largest forestry and lumber product manufacturers in South Africa is considering an increase of capital for improving processing capacity, efficiency and value output in existing mill. An international and a regional institutional investor are interested in co-financing the capital expansion and therefore conduct a due diligence of the company. The services being requested by the institutional investors were the accomplishment of a forestry due diligence of the company and its forestry and industrial assets (57,000 hectares of Pine; 17,000 hectares of Eucalyptus; four sawmills).
