Grassland Carbon Project Development for the Limpopo Region

The region of Limpopo in Mozambique faces challenges in sustainable land management and, thus, the degradation of ecosystems. The client is a private investor dedicated to ecosystem conservation and restoration. The client is developing a high-quality carbon project in and around Limpopo National Park, focusing on grazing management and rangeland restoration. To support this effort, Unique was approached to develop the project documents, the design of the monitoring system, and the monitoring report. Our role included creating a comprehensive project description in line with the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), including Climate, Community, and Biodiversity (CCB) aspects, and supporting validation and verification processes.
