Sample inventory in Protected Forests

The Forest Nature Conservation and Forest Growth Departments of the Forest Research Centre in Freiburg are responsible for the observation, monitoring, and scientific supervision of the protected forest areas in Baden-Württemberg. A particular focus is on protected forests, for which sample inventories are carried out at regular intervals. Unique was commissioned to map parts of a protected forest in the southwestern foothills of the Alps. This was a repeated inventory with 53 sampling points.
