Planning and Implementation of the National Forest Inventory

In order to improve strategic forestry decision-making, Georgia’s monitoring systems will be developed and expanded. UNIQUE was commissioned by GIZ to provide technical and planning support to the Georgian Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of Natural Resources in the development of a forest information and monitoring system as well as a national forest inventory. The main tasks include capacity development in the context of education and training, cost and time calculations as well as data management and the preparation of the planning concept.
