Procredit Bank (PCB) in North Macedonia is a partner bank of the European Fund for Southeast Europe. In line with the Fund’s objective, PCB strives to green its agribusiness portfolio by emphasizing finance for sustainable agriculture. On behalf of PCB, FIM commissioned Unique to (i) undertake a market study of sustainable agricultural standards, practices, and regulation in North Macedonia for crop production and animal production, (ii) analyze the investment potential and sustainability potential of the main agricultural subsectors (including both crop and livestock production), and (iii) prepare a ‘’green list’’ of sustainable agriculture activities, practices and measures to be supported by PCB’s lending.
