Entwicklungsunterstützung vom Wald-Investitionsprogram

The Government of Uganda is preparing two major initiatives related to forest landscape restoration and to enhance the climate resilience of natural resources in the context of the Forest Investment Program (FIP) and the Pilot Program on Climate Resilience (PPCR) with support of the World Bank and the African Development Bank. In this framework, the global FAO program on Forest and Landscape Restoration will provide support to coordinate the various partners involved in these program and to prepare the above investments. FAO commissioned UNIQUE to implement the related support. UNIQUE based on its extensive experience with FIP and PPCR is working closely with the Ministry of Water and Environment and the World Bank on the program design and assists by providing analytical support.
